Description of job duties:

Install, configure and support corporate local area networks and wide area network. Maintain network systems and systems software. Perform complete testing to ensure network systems integrity. Conduct network systems analysis to identify, diagnose, troubleshoot and resolve potential corruptions, performance issues, and/or security risks. Perform IT security services including penetration testing, network security and application security to protect data and data managing systems. Modify existing network software and hardware to meet new or revised user specifications. Develop client/server and web-based network applications, using computer programming and systems analysis techniques. Develop and provide technical support for various information systems that involve sophisticated algorithms and technologies such as lexical analysis, data conversion and encryption, and inter-platform data exchange using the latest developments in the field of distributed systems. Perform other related duties.

Job Requirements:

Master’s Degree in Mathematics/Computer programming

24 months as Network Engineer/Network Architect

Working knowledge of:

Networking Concepts: OSI model, TCP/IP, IPX/SPX, CLNS, IPv4, IPv6, VLSM

Routing Protocols: BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, IS-IS, IGRP, RIP

Multicast: IGMP, PIM-DC, PIM-SM

Infrastructure protocols: HSRP, VRRP, SLBP, DHCP, DNS, APR, RARP, ICMP, SNMP, WCCP

Data Center protocols: FCoE, FCP, FCIP, iSCSI

Application Protocols: HTTP, FTP, NTP, SMTP

Security: IPSEC, PPTP, NAT/PAT, VPN, GRE, SSL, 802.1x

Switch Technologies: MPLS, VPLS, LDP, VLAN, VTP, ISL/802.1q, STP/MSTP/RSTP
